SNG Foundation Donates to Potters Village Home in Ghana – January 2024

In January 2024, the SNG Foundation, a renowned charitable organization, made a generous donation to the Potters Village Home in Ghana. The Potters Village Home, which provides shelter, care, and support for vulnerable children, was thrilled to receive essential supplies and financial assistance aimed at improving the lives of the children it serves.

The donation, which includes food, clothing, educational materials, and medical supplies, underscores the SNG Foundation’s commitment to supporting marginalized communities. The organization, known for its long-standing charitable work across various sectors, believes in empowering the next generation by ensuring their basic needs are met and fostering an environment conducive to education and growth.

Representatives from the SNG Foundation visited the home to personally present the donation, interacting with the children and staff. This gesture of goodwill further highlights the importance of community-driven initiatives and the role of organizations like the SNG Foundation in creating positive change.

The Potters Village Home expressed deep gratitude for the donation, acknowledging the positive impact it would have on the children’s well-being and future prospects. As the year unfolds, both the SNG Foundation and the Potters Village Home are hopeful that this partnership will continue to grow, making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children across Ghana.

Kwegyir Aggrey Senior Technical School Donation

In December 2016, SnG Foundation of Hope: Canada in collaboration with the Ankrah Foundation: Ghana, donated thirty pieces of Toshiba laptops and many assorted books to the Kwegyir Aggrey Senior Technical School located in Anomabo in the Central Region of Ghana. This school is the beneficiary because as a community member, Mr. Ambrose Ankrah the CEO of Ankrah Foundation: Ghana, cannot be part of such a project without it affecting his community. The staff and students of the school were full of joy as they thanks the benefactors with much appreciation.  Mrs. Susan Manu, the assistant headmistress, revealed it was perfect timing that the two foundations came to them with their donations saying, “Teaching and learning of ICT is a difficult task here. Students don’t get enough computer access when it’s time for lessons and we ask for more”. Improving the lives of students is one of the projects of Sng Foundation of Hope and more of these projects are coming up as we focus on Africa as a whole.
